Every year on Thanksgiving Day, something magical happens on Detroit's Woodward Avenue. A holiday tradition that dates back to 1924, America's Thanksgiving Parade® has captured the imaginations of millions of children and their families for generations.

1 - St. Patrick's Parade in Detroit
Sponsored by the United Irish Societies in metro Detroit for fifty years, the Parade always convenes the Sunday prior to March 17th and promptly steps off at 2:00 P.M. sharp. The Parade route is along Michigan Avenue in the area known as "Corktown", so designated for its history as home to many early arriving immigrants from Ireland and specifically, County Cork. The Parade covers a dozen or so blocks and passes historic Tiger Stadium and the Gaelic League/Irish American Club.

The Orion Area Parade Group is a fully licensed, non-profit corporation made up of volunteers who have helped to organize, participate in and provide the Holiday Lighted Parade in the historic Village of Lake Orion. Our volunteers come from business and civic organizations as well as area residents

0 - Christmas Parade in Rochester, Michigan
Santa Claus and his wife, Mrs. Claus, have had the distinct privilege of being featured in the 2004, 2005, and 2006 annual Rochester Christmas Parade in Rochester, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus were delighted to greet visitors while singing Christmas favorites. Appearing once again in the 2007 parade, this event will be the 56th year of this spectacular parade, and it is the largest Christmas parade in Michigan. This event was broadcasted on WXYZ - Channel 7 making this an unforgettable holiday celebration!
