Welcome to the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival! We're excited to present this year's set of 40 fantastic performances. We also have scores of workshops, parties and dances planned for the week on our 650 beautiful acres of remote Michigan woodland. For over 30 years, our ever-changing intergenerational tribe of womyn has come together to make music, art, performance and community in a swirling mix of personality, culture, age and experience. We travel to northern Michigan to enjoy this year's unique and diverse performances from a wide range of artists, and to sink into the familiar comfort of a time and space where we celebrate all things female. Make it to Michigan one time and it will call to you each and every August.

The Mitten Movie Project is committed to showcasing world class movies in Detroit the headquarters of the MiniDV Revolution! We believe that the MiniDV format is putting the ability to create world class movies into the hands of some very talented people who have a true revolutionary vision. We are dedicated to promoting the filmmakers and films accepted into the festival. We have scheduled monthly movie screenings as a second opportunity to showcase the work of those filmmakers who submit to the Mitten Movie project. We are receiving loads of press from these screenings and we are helping to take filmmakers to the next level.
