Welcome to the Maybury riding stable website. Here at Maybury riding stable we offer horseback riding for the beginner as well as the experienced rider. We also offer special group participation programs for scout troops, youth groups, Girl Scout horse fan badge programs, hayrides, birthday parties, riding lessons and sunset rides. We have a number of horses in different shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from, so load up the family and come on out to Maybury riding stable to experience a scenic horseback ride through the miles of beautiful wooded, wildlife filled trails inside the Maybury State Park in Northville Michigan. Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse was founded in 1994 out of a desire to make the amateur athlete feel like a pro. All these years later it is still our mission to operate the country's finest league sports facility. While keeping our eye on the ball by staying true to the principles of our original vision, we also realized that to be successful in our industry we needed to be able to adapt to the changing needs of our customers. As a result, we are forcefully committed to continually trying new things to make our patrons experience at Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse exceptional. 4 - Morley Candy Factory Tours - Clinton Twp
This is where the magic happens, the Home of Morley Candy Makers! Step inside the famous candymaker's factory for a personal tour. It's a true chocolate lovers pilgrimage! The chocolate factory tour begins with a video presentation of the Morley family history and its humble beginnings in a small restaurant in east Detroit. Then watch Morley's expert candymakers in action as you observe the confection process though our 100 foot observation walkway. At the end of the fascination tour, you'll sample some Morley favorities in our Candy Shop. Self-Guided and "Stop & Shop" tours available Monday though Friday. Advance reservations required. 3 - Ice Box Sports Center!
It's no real mystery why the Ice Box Sports Center has become a major venue for such a wide range of family oriented activity since its inception in 1972. Throughout its history the facility has been locally owned and operated by the Norian family. Through its growth and development, the Ice Box has become far more than just a skating rink. It's really more of a true 'community' center, offering a place for people to come together to enjoy sports and of other activities within the expansive and comfortable confines of its 100,000-square-foot structure.
