One of the most unique things about Crockett Technical High School is that we are a school of choice. Students are admitted to Crockett via an application process. Students must apply in the Fall of their 8 th grade year. All Crockett Technical High School students are enrolled in a college and career prep program. Every student has the opportunity to graduate with the academic skills needed to move on to the next level and a marketable skill to succeed in the world of work. Crockett Technical High School students earn nearly one million dollars every year in scholarships. We are moving to a new neighborhood therefore everything will be new to us. As a school of choice, transportation is the responsibility of the student and parent. Transportation will be provided from the high school to the career center for students enrolled in career tech programs. When enrolled in Crockett Career Tech programs, students have the opportunity to receive college credit through the dual enrollment program with Wayne County Community College District. In cooperation with a local church, our student council raised money for tsunami relief. The also actively participant in the Annual Michigan Youth in Government Conference in Lansing.

Davis Aerospace takes education to a higher altitude. Students electing to attend Davis Aerospace commit to particpating in challenging and rigorous academic and technical training. Davis Aerospace is a school of choice, specializing in aviation maintenance technology, flight training, and avionics. Our technical education program consists of Aviation Powerplant Maintenance Technology, Aviation Airframe Maintenance Technology, Avionics Maintenance Technology, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), and Flight Training. Student are eligible to participate in the Flight Training program in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Davis Aerospace is a city-wide school of choice, and students must apply for enrollment.

Students attend Goligtly Career and Technical for two years enrolling in grades l0 and ll. Sixteen program offerings provide career planning and training for jobs that match their interests and abilities. Second year students participate in a five-week entrepreneurial class which explores the various aspects of Business Management. Practicum, internships, scholarships and cooperative education experiences are available. Preparation and financial aid assistance are provided for entrance into higher education/college.
