0 - Detroit Urban Lutheran
In 1972 the non-profit corporation Detroit Urban Lutheran Schools was authorized by the Michigan District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, to continue Christian education at Gethsemane Lutheran School, 4461 28th Street, in Detroit. Soon after, the school name was changed to Detroit Urban Lutheran School, and a new rented facility at 9881 Mendota allowed for some beginning growth in enrollment.
