- Abstrakt Intellekt...Dowrivers answer to the Isely brothers.Abstrakt Intellekt......Dowrivers answer to the Isely brothers. We have been representing Detroit Hip Hop for YEARS now. Weve ripped countless stages...drank insane amounts of beer and jagermeister, had more record contracts fall apart then you wish you could even obtain, Hung with some of your idols, and basically done more in the past 5 years then anyone you personally know. With a piss poor music economy and general distast in our mouths for the industry, we still keep carrying the torch for all talented but underappreciated artists. We love all of our fans, and even our peers who cant admit they love us in public. We have the most consistant draw of any group downriver this century. We have released 3 cds and been featured on numerous mixtapes. Weve opened for people like Ra the Rugged Man, Tech Nyne, Rob Base and DJ Ezrock, Cage and More. Were not going anywhere anytime soon. Were currently working on something new. Were currently whoring something old. (buy the hip hop experience) We invite you to leave us mail, comments, shouts whatever makes you feel good about A.I Myspace experience.

- PHAT KAT aka RONNIE CASHEvery time I step in the booth, I’m tryna make some classic shit,” promises Phat Kat, a pioneer of the Detroit hip-hop scene who was putting it down for the underground long before anyone ever heard of Eminem, Proof, D12, Slum Village, Natas, or Royce the 5’9.” And while rap from “the D” has come into the national limelight in recent years, few of Detroit’s current crop of MCs boast a track record or reputation as credible as Phat Kat. Back in the early ‘90s, Phat Kat helped to put the D on the hip-hop map as a member of First Down, pairing with legendary DJ/producer J Dilla (R.I.P.), then known as Jay Dee, years before Dilla’s involvement in Slum Village. After meeting Guru and Premier during a promotional stop through Detroit in 1994, Phat Kat gave them a demo tape – the first demo he had ever passed on to industry folks, he says -- and First Down ended up getting signed to Payday records on the strength of one song, the now-classic “Front Street,” which appeared on the Representing the Streets compilation. First Down seemed poised to be one of the first Midwestern groups to blow up nationally; unfortunately, their label was folded into a much larger company and they were lost in transition. Undeterred, the MC also known as Ronnie Cash stayed on the grind in the ensuing years, appearing on albums by Dilla and Slum Village, hitting the road frequently, and releasing his first solo album Undeniable in 2004, followed in Spring 2007 by Carte Blanche, his first release for Look Records.

- Shimmy BangoBango is the truth. Well...maybe not "the" truth but one of them. I'm telling ya'll, every month I'm hearing an MC that is ready to blow the fuck up. The fact that Bango intro'd his mixtape with "Under The Weather" spittin' over "Verbal Intercourse"...I knew I was in for some shit. That is how you introduce yourself to the listener people. The mixtape track of mixtape tracks is "In The D" with Paradime and Trick Trick. Yo! rewind this joint cause cats were getting it in like true vets. See these days MCs not only need to be able to rhyme but you got to have a personality beyond the words. Peep "Bango Good Shit" and you see that coming though in mass amounts. This joint is catchy, a def mixtape hit, Bango sounds like this shit is to easy to him man. Same could be said for Doc Danz on "Number 2". The chorus of this joint is jokes but the shit is feel good music for the soul...or at least for that Number 2 bitch in your life. Obie Trice stomped the shit outta "Wanna Kill Me"; another dope track. Mad energy on "Back To Dinner" with Bango and Marv Won. The "D" got hella talent on the MIC. "Get In There" is my favorite joint. Bango got jokes but the metaphors are crazy, and I quote: "pussy tight like four heads in a Geo." Hahahaha and he said talking shit on the track, "I just want to see if they can fit bitch, you got a mouth like a mutha fucking pit bull terrier chasing a mutha fucking meat waggon...Bitch". Lol Bango was killing me man. The flip side to the jokes, the nasty fuck any bitch personality is "Life Happens"; the story telling was picture perfect.

- Fat KillahzPrepare yourself, the "World Famous" Fat Killahz have arrived! Hailing from the war-torn streets of Detroit, Michigan, the Killahz are made up of four imposing emcees: the Fatt Father, Shim-E Bango, Marvwon and King Gordy. All four are veterans of the same open mic and battle circuits that birthed the likes of Eminem, D12, Slum Village, and Royce 5'9². All four are proficient, battle-tested lyricists. All four are explosive performers with a love for the music. All four are also constantly hungry, for hip-hop as well as hamburgers. Fatt Father (Fatts) is the leader of the group. Fatts is capable of going from personable to menacing in a matter of moments; lyrically vivid yet down to earth, his descriptive tales of the pleasure and pain of street life pull you into his world. Shim-E Bango, maybe the largest member, possesses an agile, quick-witted flow that¹s as colorful as the trademark throwback jerseys he wears. His unmistakable voice lends energy and inertia to every track he blesses. Marvwon is a verbal flamethrower. His style is a flammable mixture of antagonistic street braggadocio and humorous pop culture references that¹s guaranteed to have you hitting that rewind button.
