REPORT THIS LISTING 0 - Pipes Of Panic
KNOWN FOR THEIR THICK HEAVY GROOVE..SLICK SHARP GUITARS AND DUAL VOCAL ATTACK.............. 'PIPES OF PANIC' was formed after their well known Detroit area band at the time 'The Catz Ass' failed to hold a steady line-up after a long stint in 1994. Guitarist Dave Clotfelter who peviously fronted and played lead guitar for the well known Detroit area local band 'Mistaken Identity' for 10 plus years , along with Eddie Golatka who previously played drums for Detroit local favorites 'Jack B.Nimble' for 4 years, and before that 'Razzem' and 'Back Track' in the late 80s/early 90s, decided to form their own "super group"!. Recruited long time friend and local Detroit favorite vocalist from 'Johnny Bravo', and 'Mistaken Identity' Mike Bridgeman, and local bass wiz Mike "Snake" Edwards from huge local favorite 'Sweet Teaze'-the band began writing tunes instantly;writing 11 tunes in less than 2 weeks-complete. Those songs included 'Spinning', 'The Rain', 'Where's My Jesus', 'Prisoner', 'The Real Why', 'Lady Of Mercy', 'Snakejuice', 'No Better', 'Pipes Of Panic', 'Ten Shades', and 'Industrialized'. In The summer of 1995-the band moved forward and seperated with Mike Edwards and recruited a local bassist found in a classified want-ad in a local Detroit entertainment weekly news paper "The Metro Times".
