Botsford Hospital is a 330-bed acute care health care facility reaching out to serve communities in northwest Detroit and southern Oakland and western Wayne counties. A nationally-recognized osteopathic teaching facility, Botsford provides a regional campus for the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Each year about 110 residents and 36 interns are trained at the hospital. Botsford provides an array of services, technology and exceptional facilities for treating patients on an in patient or out patient basis. A medical staff of more than 500 physicians representing a wide range of medical specialties provides primary, specialty and preventive care.

0 - Garden City Hospital - Garden City
Garden City Hospital began as the vision of six local physicians in March of 1947. Committed to a high level of healthcare, the physicians pooled their own money and rented a building on Ford Road to provide a more attentive healthcare facility for the community. Built around the family practitioner, the hospital was named Garden City Maternity Hospital even though it also treated sick and injured persons. After a few years, the physicians realized that they needed to hire someone who could help them maintain their vision. Allan Breakie, Assistant Administrator at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit, was hired to oversee the day-to-day operations. With Breakie in place, the hospital purchased Leland Sanitarium (renamed Ridgewood Hospital) in Ypsilanti and broke ground in 1959 on the current facility, which is located at 6245 Inkster Road in Garden City. The doors opened August 1960.

Inpatient Care is provided by Huron Valley- Sinai Hospital for patients of all ages with a wide range of medical needs. Inpatient units are accessed most easily from the hospital’s Orchard (North) Entrance. Free parking is available near both entrances. The Intensive and Critical Care Unit provides intensive treatment for patients with serious conditions requiring specialized nursing staff and equipment for round-the-clock monitoring and care. Medical patients, including those with cardiac conditions, as well as surgical patients, are treated in the ICU.
