0 - Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the Archdiocese of Detroit
For 121 years, St. Vincent de Paul has been providing the Greater Detroit Area with more goods and services than any other charity. All of this, at little or no cost. How do we do it? With your help! Though your donations, volunteering and contributions, Vincentians help people in need. It doesn't matter what race, religion, or ethnic origin, if someone needs help, we are there to assist. St. Vincent is not just about serving; we stive to preserve the dignity of all individuals and their families. This tenet of maintaining unity is a defining characteristic of the Society and our work. Annually, the Society serves over 90,000 people and has an administrative cost of just 16%. This means that 84 cents of every dollar that we take in goes to help thousands of people in need.

0 - Vintage King Audio
Vintage King Audio started out of necessity for Michael and Andrew Nehra. Owning The White Room recording studios in the heart of Detroit, the Nehra’s recorded and produced their own projects for EMI and RCA as well as other major labels and indie acts. They began to buy and sell vintage equipment to accommodate their taste for classic recording gear. Their first purchase, a batch of Neve 1073’s, paid for themselves when selling half to feed their own addiction. Starting with only $2,000 dollars in 1987, Vintage King now houses the largest vintage inventory in the world, in addition, the most exclusive and exciting new product lines available.

0 - Grosse Pointe Neighborhood Club
1910's - Grosse Pointe Neighborhood Club was founded to meet the recreational, educational, and social service needs of area families. Today with courage and vision, only 24 pioneering women initiated the Neighborhood Club at the beginning of the 20th century. Their avid commitment parallels how the men and women of the current organization work for the community today. In the advent of the 21st century, the hard work of staff, the generosity of community members, and particularly the efforts of the board has helped the club have an impact, one that will surely continue to blossom in future years. As Bruce said, "The only way [The Neighborhood Club] survives is with true dedication and commitment it gets from the board. Grosse Pointe is blessed to have such a facility, and people who care about it."
