I opened Cinderella's Attic in 1979 after being influenced by cool glitter rock and artsy bands. Unique glamorous clothes made bands as well as fans look very exciting, so I thought I'd help wardrobe the Detroit fashion scenesters. I'd hunt down those ultra cool stage cloths to be worn by everyone. Soon after I opened, I had such notable customers as the Clash, B-52's, Eurhythmics, Lords of the New Church, Brian Adams, Joe Jackson, Diana Ross, Stray Cats, The Cult, The Romantics, Blondie, Weezer, Black Crows, Smash Mouth, Kid Rock, Eminem, Bjork, The Go-Gos, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Nick Cave, Sponge, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
