0- The Milford Historical Society was founded in 1973 by a group of citizens who recognized the importance of the heritage of their community and wished to share it with their contemporaries and preserve it for those who will follow. The main vehicle for sharing our heritage is the Milford Historic Museum, which was established in 1976 and is run by the Society. This Web site is another way of sharing our history.
