The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW) is an organization of representatives from Michigan businesses, community human services organizations, government agencies, and concerned private citizens working in partnership with area utility companies and other energy providers. THAW provides emergency energy assistance to low-income families, individuals and senior citizens throughout Michigan, who are in danger of losing essential heat or electricity.

DDP's stewardship role for the downtown covers strategic and physical planning, public space maintenance, research and marketing. Its principal programs for 2007 are the NEXT DETROIT: Clean Downtown initiative and the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.

The sun is shining and the summer is upon us which means it's time for one of the highlights of the Alumni DECA year. That's right kids, the Summer Picnic is just around the corner. The picnic will begin at 2:00 p.m. As always, there is loads of fun in store. Be sure to bring your bathing suit because you will inevitably be thrown in if you don't come prepared! The picnic is a great time of year were we can all get together and celebrate the year. We always have an amazing time hanging with friends and making new memories each and every year at the picnic. The cost of the picnic is $5 to help cover the cost of food.
