- Deena Bernadette Habboo MI - Detroit USAAbstract Expressionism is the name given to the most innovative idiom in the visual arts of the mid-twentieth century. The name is itself a paradox, for the adjective implies some ab-straction from 'real' life, while the noun signifies that there is something human (sensations, feelings, even thoughts), to be ex-pressed.

- A Gayle KoehlerPrevious to my retirement as a graphic designer for a small Michigan University, my paintings were quite large, mainly dealing with color field experiments. I painted for the joy of the painterly surface and to solve color challenges, as well as to affect the viewer.

- Mari OThank you for stopping by to view my artwork. I paint because it is something I love. Most of my work is done in watercolor. I also enjoy doing graphic art sometimes. I am color blind which means I don't see color like the normal person so it is somewhat of a challenge for me.

- Cindy AgathocleousMy work ranges from the whimsical to the iconic. If I had to name it, I would call it suburban folk art. It expresses my most basic emotions and ideas about my everyday life. Everyday life which includes self-examination, pursuit of the spiritual, work, children, animals... remarkably similar to the daily lives of so many women.

- Jamie Golob aka- JMEhas been a practicing artist since the age of 12. Articles written about the her can be found in the " Detroit News", " Observer & Eccentric" and "The Michigan Chronicle". From a very young age she knew that art would be her life long passion and as a self-taught artist started two small businesses providing custom hand painted furniture and mural art to private collectors as well as large corporations all before turning 18. These commissions, to name a few include work for " The Star Theatre ", "Fairlane Towne Center" and the "Wonderland Mall". Her persistance in pursuing a career as an artist despite overcoming several personal hardships and lack of formal training has earned her the title of the "Raw Expressionist".
